This DVD-R edition has been transferred from a very-good 35mm print that features a broad range of greytones and good image detail. There is a sparce amount of dust and speckling, with some emulsion damage, brief scratches, and image instability. Our review player, capable of very-good upscaling of a standard NTSC signal, has some difficulty with this disc. Quick lateral movements reveal the coarse picture interlacing inherent in older DVD discs.

The film is accompanied by a fine modern orchestral music score.

We recommend this edition as the best available home video edition but the film is due for a remastered home video edition.
