The serial was also edited for release in the USA as a feature film. The serial was released in France by Société Générale des Cinématographes Éclipse in 1922. The serial was rereleased in the USA on State Rights basis by Adventures of Tarzan Serial Sales Corporation in 1928.

Survival status: The original serial version is presumed lost : Prints exist in the UCLA Film and Television Archive film archive (of the feature film and the Artclass 1928 rerelease versions only) [16mm reduction positive, 35mm preservation negative, 35mm preservation positive]; in the Library of Congress film archive; in the George Eastman Museum film archive; in the Academy Film Archive film archive; and in the film holdings of Kit Parker Films.
