Ossi Oswalda

Born 2 February 1899 in Niederschönhausen (Berlin), Germany, as Oswalda Staglich.
Died 1 January 1948 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

Ossi Oswalda began her film career in 1916, appearing in nearly 50 films before retiring from motion pictures in 1933. She is best remembered outside Europe for her early work for director Ernst Lubitsch.
