This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a high-definition scan of a 16mm reduction print from Film Preservation Associates’ Blackhawk Films collection.
The film is accompanied by a soundtrack performed by The Alloy Orchestra.
Supplementary material includes Portrait of a Young Man with a new piano score by Judith Rosenberg; and “Cinema Then, Cinema Now,” Professor Jerry Carlson hosts a discussion on A Page of Madness with psychoanalyst Dr. Harvey Roy Greenberg and film historian Joseph Anderson.
