Released 10 July 1915. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / Weber and Smalley’s first film after returning to Universal. The screen story was suggested by an editorial in the 21 March 1915 issue of the Los Angeles Examiner. Although the film was announced as a Universal Special, it was actually released on the regular Universal program. The film was rereleased in the USA as Scandal Mongers (or The Scandal Mongers) by Bluebird Photoplays, Incorporated, on 22 July 1918; © 6 July 1918 (as Scandal Mongers) by Bluebird Photoplays, Incorporated [LP12631].
