This PAL DVD edition has been produced by Filmmuseum München and the Goethe-Institut, München, from the 2005 restoration of the film.
The film is presented with two improvised piano scores performed by Joachim Bärenz.
The supplemental material includes scenario exerpts (in German) for missing and deleted scenes.
This high-quality edition is recommended to all with a PAL disc player. North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition.
