This DVD-R edition from Grapevine Video has been mastered from a good 8mm reduction print that is contrasty, with dark, plugged-up shadow detail.
The film is accompanied by a music score compiled from preexisting, low-fidelity orchestral recordings.
Currently, this is the only known DVD home video edition of The Growth of the Soil.
