This budget DVD edition has been mastered from a very-good 35mm print.
The film is accompanied by canned music from a variety of audio sources.
The film was previously available in video producer David Shepard’s multidisc Cecil B. DeMille laserdisc boxset, and that remains the best edition of the film on home video. This is, surprisingly, the only DVD edition of The Volga Boatman known to us.
