With a previously unreleased (on DVD) Pickford title on it, and the DVD home video rerelease of Sparrows (1926), this collection of three Pickford features and a Biograph short will be highly appealing to collectors.
The films are accompanied by music scores by Philip Carli and the Flower City Society Orchestra, and music scores by Bonnie Ruth Janofsky and Jeffrey Silverman, both performed by the Rouse Philharmonic.
The supplemental material includes optional spoken intertitles with explanations of the action to assist younger viewers with their enjoyment of the films.
For our reviews of each presentation, see our Ramona on home video page, Poor Little Rich Girl on home video page, The Hoodlum on home video page, and Sparrows on home video page.
This edition is highly recommended.

This budget DVD collection of four Pickford films contains an edition of The Poor Little Rich Girl, mastered from an older natural-speed analog video transfer that appears to have utlized a 16mm reduction print, which is soft on image detail, slightly squished horizontally throwing off the picture geometry, and full of little videotape glitches.
The film is presented with a custom music score performed with synthesized sounds of a circus calliope. Annoying, and hardly appropriate to the film’s content.
Not really a recommended edition, when you might still be able to find the Milestone edition noted above.
